Swingyde

This little plastic piece is very helpful. I have been hitting better shots that are straighter & sometimes i suprise myself with a draw. I think that it’s worth the investment if you are serious about playing better golf.

Outstanding Product!

This is the first review I have ever given a golf product. My swing was slowly self destructing this year. I developed a fade that was getting worse and worse. After realizing that it was not the clubs, I tried a couple different training aids. Finally, I saw the reviews on the swingyde. I ordered it and tried it. At first, it was not correcting my swing and then I realized that I was not following the directions.

After watching the DVD and reading the instructions again, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. Shortly after, I was swinging perfectly.

In a nutshell, this device puts you in a great position on the takeaway and then also puts you in a perfect position at the finish. For those of us who have trouble “releasing the club”, this is the answer. After 20 minutes, my muscles started memorizing the swing path. I have now been using it daily for 20 minutes a night inside (which is very relaxing after the kids go to bed). This swingyde is the real deal and I am telling my family and friends about it.

I had a question and emailed the creator of the swingyde in Australia and he emailed me back the same day. He is a great guy and very helpful. I can’t recommend it enough!

Samsonite Golf Trunk Organizer

Keep all your golf gear neatly arranged when traveling to South Carolina or other resort destinations with the Samsonite golf trunk organizer. The trunk–which is made of durable ripstop polyester with waterproof backing–offers two levels of storage, similar to the design of many jewelry boxes. The bottom level holds such items as shoes (up to three pairs) and ball sleeves, while the top level is perfect for storing shirts, pants, and other apparel. The trunk also includes a large mesh section above the top for smaller items, such as gloves, tees, snacks, or water. Finally, the trunk’s movable dividers help you keep everything in place, so you can easily partition your jackets, rain slickers, and shirts. Other features include a ventilated mesh front door that helps you air out the contents, a small mesh pocket for money or small accessories, an eyeglass/cell phone pouch, a series of loops for holding golf tools or grips, two end carrying handles made of ergonomic rubber, and self-healing nylon zippers with oversized zipper pulls.

The Samsonite golf trunk organizer, which includes a lock and key, measures 24 by 10 by 14 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 5 pounds.
Shoe compartment practically worthless

I was excited to finally be able to organize my trunk. I am very disappointed though. The shoe compartment on the bottom is very low, it would be better for storing flip flops than golf shoes.

Nice and sturdy

This organizer works really well! Even for those with larger shoe sizes, two pair of shoes fit nicely. It’s also very sturdy. A good value.

Learn how to swing in tempo and on plane every time with the Medicus men’s dual-hinged 5 iron swing trainer. Owned by more than half a million amateur golfers and thousands of professionals, the Medicus is easy to use. Just set up in your living room or on the driving range and start swinging. If the patented dual-hinge mechanism “breaks,” you still have some work to do. But if you can swing the club without breaking it, you’ll know you’re swinging correctly. Not only does the club help eliminate your slice or hook, but it lets you hit longer, more accurate shots time after time. Plus, it improves all aspects of your swing, from your takeaway to your downswing to your follow-through. And the more you swing it, the more you’ll develop the muscle memory necessary to produce a perfect repeating swing regardless of your chosen club.

Voted the number one swing trainer seven years in a row, the Medicus 5 iron comes with the Swing Like a Pro DVD, which stars Jack Lumpkin–one of golf’s top 100 instructors–and Medicus inventor Bob Koch. The dual-hinged 5 iron includes a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Swingyde Golf Swing Training Aid

Awsume swing trainer
This was recomended to me by a golf pro. He is right. It has helped me control my wrists and now I know exactly where they should be during the complete swing. I am hitting the ball much longer. It is good for both left and right handers. They could come up with a better way of connecting it to the club.
Swingyde will provide you with the feedback necessary to hinge the wrists correctly and assure that the face is perfectly square throughout the swing. In addition, it will help maintain a ‘preset’ lag position on the downswing & into impact.

Gripmaster Hand and Finger Exerciser

WARNING! Two different handles: 1 good, 1 bad.
A friend has the blue (light tension) with the larger, more ergonomic handle. I bought the red one from Isokinetics (best price with shipping). Mine showed up with a different handle. It’s smaller and cheaper looking, and is very uncomfortable. So be warned, there are two products with identical names, but a VERY different feel in the hand.

During initial use, it’s obvious the Gripmaster hand strengthener will perform as advertised. The two-layer system allows the unit to rotate when working on the index and pinkie fingers. This is a good design to minimize blisters from sliding, as on similar straight up-down devices.

The blue is light and good for busy fingers. But I was looking for finger and forearm strength, and the red still seemed light. They recommend the red (medium tension) for the “average man” and doing many repititions over fewer reps with the black (heavy tension).

I will definitely buy the black Gripmaster, as soon as I can find a seller who can assure me I’ll receive the larger, more ergonomic palm rest. The comfort makes a huge difference in how long you can exercise your hand. The right model is worth the price, but the smaller one is not. It hurts to use, so it probably won’t get used as much, and therefore won’t be helpful.

Note: I called Isokinetics and they’re accepting the return. But they couldn’t assure me, if I returned for correction, that I’d receive the right handle.
